Forests in Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland have been burning for more than a week. Due to the persistent heat and drought, the fire brigade expects the fight against the flames to continue for a long time. On the German side alone, 600 firefighters are currently in action.

The firefighters are stretched to their physical limits by the already high air temperatures and the blazing sun. Therefore, it is important to provide them with isotonic drinks and energy bars.

Yesterday, employees of cp.max brought an entire van with these supplies to the operations centre in Bad Schandau. A large refrigerator was also handed over for cooling food and drinks.

The gratitude for the firefighters is great in the region and we also want to pay tribute to their self-sacrificing efforts with this small donation.
